Meijer Markdowns

It used to be that Meijer would mark their meat down to 40% off once it was close to the expiration date.  However, the past few times I have been there, meat was still marked 20% off that expired that same day.  I wonder if they are not doing the additional markdown anymore.  I have been finding GREAT markdowns in the cheese/yogurt aisle. Tonight I found Pillsbury pizza dough, biscuits, etc marked 75% off.  As long as I use them, or cook them, the next day, they are a GREAT deal.  For example, I paid $.34 for a can of biscuits.  We typically get coupons for these as well, making it an even better deal!
