Recipe of the Week - Hot Wing Chicken Dip

Thursday, August 27, 2009
For those of you new to the site, I post one recipe a week.  My recipes will typically either be one to help you use some of the extra inventory you have stock piled or a very inexpensive but yummy meal.
Hot Wing chicken Dip - Great Party Appetizer
4 chicken breasts  $3(used my $1 off tyson MQ at Remke when Chicken was $1.79 pound)
1 1/4 c Redhot - FREE, if you have been couponing for awhile, I am sure you have many of these
12 oz. Ranch dressing - FREE, again, how many bottles of Kraft or Marzetti's do you have?
2 Packages Cream Cheese - FREE once I used MQ's and rebate at Bigg's
1 bag Tortilla Chips $1.88 at Kroger this week
Total spent $4.88, makes a big pan!

1)Boil chicken breasts. Cool and shred.
2)Place in 13x9 pan
3)On stove, mix cream cheese, hot sauce, and ranch on low until melted.
4)Pour mixture over chicken and mix well.
5)Bake for 20 minutes @ 350 degrees.
6) serve with tortilla chips

Hint: We like our dip spicy hot.  If you want a milder version, use less hot sauce.  You can always add more later if it isn't enough at first.
