I haven't done my Thursday's Tip of the day in several weeks because I have been so short on time So, you will get the tip on Friday. Better late than never. Here are 2 yummy summer recipes that will help you use that Cool Whip you an get at Kroger this week for a great price.
Pretzel Salad
2 Tubs Cool Whip
1 Bar Cream Cheese
1 c Sugar
1/2 can pineapple tidbits, drained well
Crushed Pretzels (you choose how much)
Using a mixer, whip together the Cool Whip, Cream Cheese, and sugar
Add in Pineapple
Add in pretzels
Chill before serving - YUM!
By the way, this makes quite a bit. Great for a party!
If it is a little too runny, add in a touch of corn starch.
Sunshine Salad
1 Can Pineapples, drained
2 Cans Mandarin Oranges, drained
1 Tub Cool Whip
1 Package instant Vanilla Pudding made according to package directions
1/4 bag mini marshmallows
Make pudding
Mix in Cool Whip
Add the remaining ingredients
Enjoy!!!
